Early Equipment Management (EEM)

EEM is a method used to design/specify equipment from inception to completion in the shortest amount of time. Hence, this course covers optimizing life cycle costs and maintenance-prevention design. Additionally, it also covers the four areas of life cycle cost: Maintenance, Design, Development, and Operation as well as their specific contributions and interaction with each other. Participants will learn Life Cycle Cost Analysis (LCCA)/Life Cycle Management (LCM) concepts such as alternate financing options, various acquisition methods, and different equipment comparison. Other aspects include improving replacement decision making, accessibility and maintainability designing as well as hourly operating costs.
