This course covers various forms of lubrication, purpose of lubrication, and viscosity. Students learn about the viscosity grade of grease, classic problems with over lubrications and wrong types, typing lubes by speeds, loads, and temperatures. Additional aspects include learning proper storage methods, use of greasing standards, various methods of delivery, how to calibrate grease guns, proper grease gun storage, and additives.
